We are back from our trip to the North Shore of Oahu (the historic town Haleiwa more specifically) , we had a fantastic time and could not have chosen a better location and company to say the least! The weather was almost perfect, the beach was beautiful, the wild life amazing, little Robbie had plenty of "firsts", and there was plenty of beer to go around, so there you have it in a nut shell.
Our beach camp in front of the house we stayed and the view from camp
family photo on the beach overlookig the beautiful Waimea Bay
Since our cottage was only a short work down the beach from where they filmed "LOST" we decided to take a hike to the "oceanic crash camp" up the beach and found Mr. Echo's church!
on our way back we saw this huge turtle on the beach
We started our days with pretty much pineapples, in the backyard where kev also gets to check out the waves first thing, and got to paddle out and catch a few a couple times...
We decided to give little robbie a chance at the sand and wave
and also lots of hikes/nap time
and usually we get to see turtles on our journey, sunning at the tide pools, or camouflaged amongst the rocks
and were even lucky enough to catch this shot of a whale breachig out of the ocean!!
and of course, playtime with mom!
and I am saving the best for last...

This is What Robert Would Look Like if He Were a Girl
I don't think he likes it... but then maybe if aunt Lisa had made the hat bigger he would have a better attitude.
