We've been good this year!

Our tree is up, and I am so so proud!! I couldn't wait for the weather to get better for some better shots with adequate light, so here it is a slightly blurry version!





And my little guy is growing up so fast I grab on to his childhood with both my hands and more.... luckily I will always have kev to baby...

Wrights Lake

Robert's first time (if we don't count last year's trip where he took an unexpected swim inside his mama's belly...) at Wrights lake was a sucess, well for the most part after we learned our lesson the first night!
#1: Robbert sleeps in the tent inside the cabin, mama and daddy sleeps outside, on the deck.
#2: Always have a dog water bowl ready, and extra change of clothes.





What we also realized is that "Wagner", pronanced "Vaagner" (Kevin named him, since he had to tolerate "Thomas" the Coupe) suits the cabin trip well, although we do need to invest in some good roof racks.

Well, somehow we didn't make it to the lake even though it's pretty much just outside the cabin, maybe if it were hotter next time, I think I am still afraid of the water since last time...
we did manage to go on a long hike into Desolation Wilderness even with our old timer 4-legged children...








And who knew that a snotty paper towel can be such a fun toy?!?!

First Fever

It's official, Robbie had his first case of major vomit followed by fever this morning, we also had his 9 month appt today, amazingly 3 shots later, he's somewhat happier, and even got his appetite back for some Necterins!

Here's the stats:

20lb 4oz (50th percentile, had to match his height right?)
18" HC (apparently his head didn't grow at all for 3 months? Is pinhead in the future....)

Fun at the Carousel

Today is my buddy Everett's first birthday, we celebrated with a ride on the Carousel in Tilden Park, it was a bittle scary at first, but after holding on to mama, Robbie felt a lot better!
