Still no SLR....
My second attempt to buy the Canon Rebel from a different vendor ended in disappointment again!! It is on back order for 6-8 WEEKS! Now I am will have a len in hand without a camera come this weekend. I really hope it comes before the Cabo trip.

I haven't been following your search, but did you try Adorama.com, bhphoto.com, or buydig.com? I've used all three and have had no problems!
