I think the smaller, 2 tier model may have a nicer effect with our mid-centry (less austere than this model cleanline) kitchen. (Maybe we can reuse the light in the kitchen after the nursery?)

I am kinda obsessed with this lamp

The Original Verner Panton (1964) Fun lamp, large one is 18"X24", small one is 11"X17". Stainless steel and handcut mother-of-pearl.
West Elm had a similar lamp put it just doesn't look quite as nice....
